WHERE IT ALL STARTED In 2008 Henry Hall (co-owner) had a need to house his relatives at his property in Orlando FL. After some time, he started playing with the idea to build a separate structure on his backyard. He didn’t have an easy way to make it happen. The building permit laws weren’t flexible back then. He had to jump through a lot of hoops to make it happen. In the end, after a few years, he accomplished his goals, but with a hefty price and time spent marked through red tape. With due diligence, Henry started collaborating with other professionals who contributed to his purpose to make his relatives a backyard house with all the proper permits and allow them to live an independent lifestyle as they had envisioned since the start. He has taken his past experience with a twist to help others, so they don’t have to go through the hurdles he went through. It wasn’t a pleasant experience for him and his family back then. Henry remembers the space constraints he was having in his primary residence. This is the reason he understands what other homeowners are going through and what their motivation is to accomplish the same goals he pursued himself with his relatives. Although it has taken several years for the local laws on housing to develop, Henry was able to set a logistics standard for Tiny Home design and construction. He has been able to help several homeowners across various states.
